Ashley Park School Events and FUNdraising Team
The team is a community of parents, carers and interested community members who contribute some of their time to provide fundraising activities and special events throughout the year for the improvement of our school. It’s a relaxed and friendly group where new members of the community are always welcome.
Meetings & Volunteering
Meetings are open to anyone in the school community. Parents, carer’s or grandparents are encouraged to attend, and all voices are heard and valued. Volunteers are vital in making our fundraisers and events successful.These provide a great opportunity to interact with others in the school community. No special skills are needed and all contributions in terms of time (large or small) are very much appreciated.
Fundraising Projects
Over the years the Events and FUNdraising team have raised funds for air conditioners for all buildings, larger sandpits, outdoor tables for our seniors area, footy tops for competition use as well as many other invaluable resources for our school.
Our current project is to improve the accessibility and aesthetics of the school grounds through the addition of new bike sheds, a formal entrance to the admin building and additional equipment for the students. At this stage we are well on our way of reaching our goal amount.
The team undertake one major and one minor fundraising event per term as well as a special event including:
