Annual Report

The purpose of the annual report is to inform parents and the school community of the school's successes, activities and achievements throughout the year, and to meet prescribed minimum standards for registration as regulated by the Victorian Registration and Qualifications Authority (VRQA) in accordance with the Education and Training Reform (ETR) Act 2006.

Annual reports are made available to the school community at our Annual General meeting of the School Council. This is a public meeting and any member of the school community is welcome to attend.

This 2023 Annual Report to the School Community has been tabled and endorsed at a meeting of the school council and will be publicly shared with the school community.

The ‘Annual Report to the Community ‘is then submitted to the Education Department by the stated date.

SCHOOL STRATEGIC PLAN

A strategic plan documents what the school wants to achieve in the future and how it plans to get there.

The plan lets people know:

Why your school exists (its purpose)
How staff and students are expected to behave (the values)
What is different or special about your school (the context)
What you are going to focus on over the next four years to improve students’ experience at school (the goals and targets), and how the school is going to do this (key improvement strategies)
What actions you will undertake to implement your key improvement strategies and the milestones that will be used to identify progress in their implementation.

Annual Implementation Plan

The AIP operationalises the 4-year School Strategic Plan (SSP).

All schools must prepare an AIP each year which outlines how the school will implement the goals and key improvement strategies (KIS) that will be their focus for improvement in the coming year.

The AIP includes:

SSP goals, targets and KIS selected for focus that year
12-month targets that track progress against 4-year targets
actions that will be undertaken to implement the selected KIS
intended outcomes of the actions (changes in knowledge, skills and behaviours) as well as success indicators that will be used to measure the outcomes
the related activities that will be completed to achieve the outcomes, including resourcing, responsibility, and timelines for completion
a funding planner including information on Equity Funding, Disability Inclusion Tier 2 Funding, and Schools Mental Health Fund
a professional learning planner.
