We would like to acknowledge and show our respect to the traditional custodians of this land, the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin nation. We would like to pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging, and in addition to any other Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander people, for they hold the memories, traditions, culture and hopes of Aboriginal Australia. It is on their land that Ashley Park Primary School was built and as we share our knowledge, teaching and learning with the School community, may we also show our respect through the relationships we form and our own connection with this beautiful land around us.
